Privacy

Last updated October 4, 2026

Linkswright keeps your game on your device. It doesn't ask you to make an account, it doesn't show ads or use third-party analytics, and it doesn't send your game data to me.

Your game

Linkswright stores your courses, career, rounds, settings and player records on your device. Saves may also be included in backups you manage through Apple, such as iCloud Backup. If you store course designs in iCloud Drive, Apple holds those copies under its own privacy policy.

Writing in the game

News stories, player quotes and course descriptions are written from what happened in your game. When Apple Intelligence is available, it writes them on your device. When it isn't, the game uses built-in text. These prompts are never sent to a server I run.

Files and reports you share

Exporting a course, a save, a scorecard image or a crash report opens the system share sheet. Nothing leaves your device until you pick where it goes. Saves can include names you typed in and your game history. Crash reports include technical information about the app and your device.

If you send one of these to me, I use it only to help you or fix the problem, and I don't share it with anyone. If you send it somewhere else, that service or person handles the copy under their own practices.

TestFlight

If you're testing through TestFlight, Apple may share crash logs, usage information and any feedback you submit with me, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms. I use that only to fix and improve the game.

Purchases

If you buy the Full Game unlock, the App Store handles payment. I never see your payment details.

Deleting your data

You can delete course designs and discard saved rounds in the app. On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes its data from the device. Files you've exported and device backups are yours to manage separately. If you've emailed me and want that correspondence deleted, ask and I'll delete it.
